Founder and CEO
Umar Syed is the founder of Geocko Intelligence. He spent 18 months at VoxSmart, a leading RegTech firm specialising in communications surveillance for financial institutions. There he ran full-cycle sales, from finding prospects to closing deals with financial institutions. He led AI enablement across revenue operations, building an automated sales engine that increased pipeline creation and scaled outbound, and VoxSmart named him a top performer through its VoxStars programme. He started his career at Foxtons, London's leading publicly listed real estate agency.
He grew up in the Middle East. In his final year of school in Bahrain he devised a formula for squaring two-digit numbers that was recognised in local and international papers. He holds an MSc in Urban Economic Development from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Architecture from Oxford Brookes, Oxford. As founder and CEO he sets the company's course and owns its innovation, closing the gap between what AI can do and what people actually get from it.
